What is printing
It is a finishing process on a product
What is lithography
It is using photographic paper that unexposed parts attracts ink and rejects water and the exposed parts do the opposite to produce commercial prints using rollers and paper feeding through them
What is screen printing
A screen with mesh is made where ink is squeezed through onto a stencil over a material it is the spread out. Used in clothing
What is flexography
Using a flexible rubber roller which soaks ink and prints this onto paper, used in printing film or plastic bags
What is Embossing
Form of stamping where part of the surface area is raised above the product, by forcing material between two surfaces on different levels, used in surface covering for cards (gives impression if high quality, makes parts stand out)

Inks that naturally break down over time made of natural oils Adv: Less likely to smudge Less ink required No toxins No smell Disadv: More expensive to make and recycle
What is silk screen printing
Using uv light to fix ink to areas on photosensitive paper
