What is meta-analysis?

A

Data is analysed from lots of different studies and general conclusions are observed. It looks at existing studies and takes the primary data for analysis, the data is therefore secondary data

What is a strength of meta-analysis?

A

Reduce the problem of sample size and can be useful where the subjects have been extensively researched by other psychologists
