What is normal distribution?
A
An arrangement of data that is symmetrical and forms a bell-shaped pattern where the mean, median and/or mode falls in the centre at the highest peak

What is skewed distribution?
A
Where frequency data is not spread evenly, the data is clustered at one point

What is positively skewed?
A
A long tail that extends to the right, when data is skewed to the right, the mean will be greater than the median

What is negatively skewed?
A
A long tail that extends to the left, when data is skewed to the left, the median will typically be greater than the mean
