What is an abstract?
A
Summarises the whole investigation briefly and clearly (150 words) so that someone new to the topic being investigated can gain an idea of what is actually happening

What is a discussion?
A
The researcher interprets what they think these results mean and relate them back to previous work and their hypothesis. They will discuss the implications of their results to real life, and also suggest ideas for future research
