Q

How does cabin pressurization work?

A
  • Pressurization in most light aircraft are sent to the cabin from the turbocharger’s compressor or from the an engine-driven pneumatic pump.
  • The flow of compressed air into the cabin is regulated by an outflow valve which keeps the pressure constant by releasing excess pressure into the atmosphere.
