1. Sit up straight or stand up
2. Remove the cap and check for obstruction
3. Shake the inhaler (to mix drug with propellant)
4. Breath out gently
5. Immediately place mouthpiece in mouth and put your teeth around, but don’t bite
6. Start to breath in slowly and simultaneously press canister and continue to breath in
7. hold breath for 10 seconds or as long as you can
8. Remove mouthpiece from mouth and breath out gently
9. Replace the cap
10. wait 30-60 seconds to repeat
