Position of leads

A

Contacts should be on the inside of ankle and wrists
Contacts should face downwards on wrist and chest
Contacts should face upwards on ankles
V1- 4th intercostal space right of sternum
V2- 4th n

V4- 5th intercostal space, midclavicular line left of sternum
V5- same horizontal level as V4 anterior axillary
V6- same horizontal level as V4 mid axillary line
Read (RED)-Right arm
Your (YELLOW)- Left arm
Books (BLACK)- Right Leg
Good (GREEN)- Left leg

Print off ECG trace
Sign with Name, DOB, CHI, Date is was taken and my signature

A
  1. If regular count how many squares between QRS complex and divide 300 by this number
  2. Count how many QRS complex there is in 30 squares and X 10
