What is the Germinal Stage “finding a place to live”
this is the stage of development that occurs from development to about 2 weeks, the fertilized egg (zygote) moves towards the uterus.

cell divisions begins approximately 24 - 36 hours after conception.

What is mitosis
This is when a cell duplicates it contents including its chromosomes, and splits to form two identical daughter cells
What is the Placenta
This is a specialized organ that sustains the life of the embryo by transferring food, oxygen and removing waste products after the initial months of gestation.
What is the Umbilca cord
This is a life line that connects the embryo to the placenta
What is the Embryonic Stage “organizing space”
the development from implantation to 8 weeks of pregnancy, major organism are formed and developed. it is a critical stage for cognitive and physical development. heart beat begins.
