Elicited Acts, Commanded Acts
Human act that begin and are perfected with will itself; will-act (Classification of human acts)
Elicited acts
Are acts that are perfected by other faculties under the control of will; willed act (Classification of human acts)
Commanded acts
The simple love of anything (Elicited acts)
Wish
Purposive tendency of the will towards a thing regarded as realizable, whether the thing is actually done or not (Elicited acts)
Intention
The acceptance by the will of the means necessary to carry our intention (Elicited acts)
Consent
The selection by the will of the precise means to be employed in carrying out an intention (Elicited acts)
Election
The employment by the will of powers to carry out its intention by the means selected (Elicited acts)
Use
The enjoyment of a thing willed and done (Elicited acts)
Fruition
Acts done by the internal mental powers under the command of the will (Commanded acts)
Internal
Acts affected by bodily powers under the body of command of the will (Commanded acts)
External
Acts that involve the employment of bodily and mental powers (Commanded acts)
Mixed
