A

A
how policies can discriminate unintentionally

side-effect discrimination
A
how one institution/sector can influence another negatively. Ex: A small town where Black people always get unfair verdict of guilty. Then while applying to a job later, they don’t get the job b/c of criminal record.

Past-in-Present discrimination
A
how things done in the past even if no longer allowed can have consequences for people in the present. Ex: Lingering resentment/discrimination against African Americans even after schools were integrated
