What do Catholic’s believe about prejudice and discrimination?
A
- unacceptable and against catholic beliefs and teachings
- Jesus did not discriminate against women
- Jesus’ example (such as his treatment of lepers and outcasts) and his teachings (such as the Good Samaritan) show Catholics that all people should be treated equally and with respect.
- God created all human beings as equals

What are Catholic teachings about RACIAL prejudice and discrimination?
A
- In the parable of the Good Samaritan, Jesus showed that races who hated each other should love each other as neighbours.
- St Peter had a vision from God, telling him not to discriminate because God has no favourites among the races.
- Jesus’ own actions showed how important it was to treat all races as equal as he healed men and women from different ethnic backgrounds.

Who and What did Martin Luther king do?
A
- a Christian who believed that all humans were equal in the eyes of God.
- Believed in a world where people would not be discriminated because of the colour of their skin
- did this through SPEECHES,ORGANISED CAMPAIGNS and protest marches (all non violent)
