Predetermined Time Standards Flashcards
Diferencia con time study
They are already written in tables.
You don´t need to measure times.
Ventajas
You don´t need to measure times.
They apply the same in all the world.
Cuando se usa
They are assigned to fundamental movements and groups of movements that can not be accurately assessed by ordinary procedures of time study with a stopwatch. Because they are too short or the cycle is not continuous.
Otros nombres
Basic Times
Synthetic Times
Porque predetermined
because they are used to predict the standard times of new jobs that result from the change of methods.
Por qué basic
because greater refinement is difficult and impractical. No se pueden separar más los micro-movimientos.
Por qué synthetic
because they are often the result of the Therbligs logical combinations.
Quién y cuando se crea el MTM-1
Maynard, Stegemerten and Schwab, 1949
De cuales movimientos fundamentales da los tiempos el MTM-1
reaching, moving, turning, grabbing, positioning, unhooking and releasing.
Qué es MTM-1
A procedure that analyzes any manual operation or method based on the basic movements that are required to perform it and assigns to each movement a predetermined standard time that is established by the nature of the movement and the conditions in which it is performed.
Cómo funciona el MTM-1
It works based on a classification that includes the associated therblig and the distance or weight related to the element. Depending on the classification, a table value is obtained in TMUs (Time Measurement Unit)
1 TMU =
0.00001 hr
Los tiempos de las tablas NO incluyen tiempos por retrasos evitables, inevitables o fatiga, verdadero o falso?
VERDADERO
El tiempo de las tablas incluye la calificación del operario, es el tiempo normal. Verdadero o falso?
Verdadero
Cuándo se usa el MTM-2
work areas in which the detail of MTM-1 could economically hamper its use.
- The effort portion of the work cycle is more than one minute.
- The cycle is not highly repetitive.
- The manual portion of the work cycle does not involve a large number of complex or simultaneous movements of the hands.
