What is binding precedent?
A decision made in a higher court that binds all lower courts
What happens if a different decision is reached in a higher court than the court the binding precedent was made in originally?
The decision becomes binding and replaces the previous precedent as it is from a higher court

Why are decisions from the other countries binding?
Because they are decisions from other countries’ legal systems, not ours, and we aren’t bound by their precedent
