What is lack of time?

A

Parliament may not have had the time to consider new laws in detail as well as the detail. Eg: non-fatal offences review in 1993 but no changes made

A

Because it means areas of the law may have gaps or are unclear

A

The process could take several months to complete and has been altered so much that it may not achieve original aims or lack clarity

A

The govt control laws approved and passed. It allows too little time for PM bills so very few moral issues are debated as they veto all bills due to HOC majority

What is complexity?

A

Acts are too long and complex. They can be too difficult to interpret so need to be reworded. Appeals are made due to interpretation of wording.
