-It closes the APU fuel and bleed shut off valves plus it arms the fire bottle B

In flight, pressing the CARGO button immediately discharges the high-rate fire extinguisher bottle into the cargo compartment and starts a two-minute timer to discharge the metered bottle
What happens when the CARGO button on the FIRE PROTECTION panel is pressed on the ground?
On the ground, pressing the CARGO button immediately discharges the high-rate fire extinguisher bottle into the cargo compartment. A second push of the CARGO button is required to discharge the metered bottle
What are the two different sizes for the low rate (metered) extinguisher bottle?
Either 78 minutes or 110 minutes
How can a pilot identify which size of a low rate (metered) extinguisher bottle is on their aircraft?
It is placarded in the cargo compartment
Does the internal stowage compartment have fire detection/protection? If so, what?
Yes it is equipped with a smoke detector
