growth chart basics
- The growth chart used to plot the measurements of weight, height/length and head circumference should correspond to the child’s sex and age e.g. 0-4, 2-20, neonatal
- use a small dot to mark
dont do invasive tests if
child is haemodynamically unstable
e.g. you wont do a lumbar puncture if you suspect meningococcal septicaemia

- sepsis (blood culture)

- meningiits + sepsis (will show up in both)
