A- Attaches medially close to tip of L Tps, sup on the rib 12 and inf on iliac crest

Middle layer of thoracolumbar fascia (attachments, features)
A- medially to tip of L TPs, laterally to IO, TO
-Covers post surface of QL
Post layer of thoracolumbar fascia (attachments, features)
A- Medially on L Sps
-runs over errectors, encricles lats
