What does the sebaceous gland release?
Sebum
What stimulates and what inhibits the sebaceous gland?
Androgens stimulate
Estrogens inhibit
What does the sweat gland secrete?
Water, urea, ammonia, NaCl
What kind of secretion does the sweat gland do?
Merocrine secretion
What are the two parts of the sweat gland?
Excretory duct and secretory portion
What determines hair colour?
Melanin
How would you describe the cells in the Henle’s layer?
Flat
What kind of granules are found in Huxley’s layer?
Tricohyline granules
Describe the cells in the IRS.
Flat shape cells (look like shingles)
