Nasal polyposis : definition and grades
A
=> Presence of multiple soft, glossy and rounded formations deriving from the nose mucosa, occupying one or both nasal cavities and one or more sinuses cavities.
Grades :
° 1 : highest part of the nose
° 2 : medium floor
° 3 : entire nasal cavity

Pathogenesis and physiopathology
A
=> follows the release of substances with edemigenic action :
- nasal hyperactivity
- allergy
- drug intolerance : AINS
- fungal, bacterial infection
- genetic conditions
Pathogenesis :
- allergic theory
- infectious theory
- dissoudre of muccocillary clearance
- intolerance to acetyl salisilitic acide (associated with asthma)

- bilateral nasal obstruction
- hyposmia / anosmia
- mucosal rhinorrhea
- snoring
- craniofacial pain
- dysgeusia
