PET
it is a thermoplastic so can be recycled
it is tough so will not spill when dropped
it can be see through and so the user can see how much liquid is left
is impermeable to CO2 and so is good for carbonated drinks

it is a thermosetting plastic so has a high melting point so is not affected by hot pans
is chemical resistant so can be cleaned with detergent
its hardness allows it to be cleaned with a scouring pad without getting scratched
pigment can be used for desired colour
what polymer is used in wetsuits and why?
neoprene
it is an elastomer so will stretch and release around the body for a tight fit
has good degradation resistance and so is sot affected by saltwater
can be pigmented for company/consumer
