Operating with reduced number of cabin crew
The circumstances in which the cabin crew member became UFD or otherwise impaired were unforeseen, and beyond the control of Jetstar or any staff member of Jetstar.
There is no replacement cabin crew member available, and the flight is departing from a non-crewed port for cabin crew.
One of the remaining cabin crew members is a trained and qualified Cabin Manager.
The PIC notifies the JOCC, airport staff (for Domestic AU and NZ ops) and Duty Pilot before boarding commences.
An OSCAR is submitted by the PIC
Weight and balance considerations are applied as per OM5A/D Aircraft Loading Manual.
