The handline is wrapped twice around an Ox Block’s friction bar (or the crossarm) and then tied around the victim’s body with the rope under the armpits.

What is the Body Belt method used for?
Victims who are still conscious and able to assist with their rescue.
How is the Body Belt Method performed?
The handline is wrapped twice around an Ox Block’s friction bar (or the crossarm), then, using the Body Belt, the handline is secured through the D-RIngs of the Body Belt and crossed around the body.
