Mainly used for removing insulation from wire. Anything other than skinning.
To pry open cans or as a screwdriver.

In a sheath.

How should you cut?
Always cut away from your body. When using a skinning knife, always keep the cutting edge turned away from you.

Ensure ample space and firm footing.

Sharp and coated with a thin film of oil.
How should you sharpen your knife?
Always sharpen away from your body and ensure the area is clear before sharpening. By holding the knife and slowly drawing the Speedy Sharp horizontally across the blade edge, from the base to tip. Turn the blade over and repeat this again to sharpen the other side of the knife.
What should you do if you drop your knife?
Let it fall - do not attempt to catch it.
Why is it important to store your knife in a sheath?
Protection from both accidental cutting as well as keeping the blade edge sharp.
