Mx: Anti-digoxin Abs
Raised anion gap metabolic acidosis, drank antifreeze
Ethylene Glycol
Mx: ethanol (competitive inhibition of breakdown), haemodialysis
Heparin
Protamine
Nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain (Iron)
Desferrioxamine
Ataxia, coarse tremor, confusion, polyuria and renal failure
Lithium
Mx: Saline
Methanol (Raised anion gap metabolic acidosis with visual disturbance)
Mx: ethanol and haemodialysis
Pin point pupils, low GCS and respiratory depression
Opiates
Mx: Naloxone
Organophosphates e.g. malathion
Mx: Atropine + Pralidoxime
Raised QTc (–> torsade de pointes), metabolic acidosis and anticholinergic effects
Tricyclics e.g. Amitriptyline
Mx: Activated charcoal (within 60 minutes), NaHCO3 IV
Warfarin
Vitamin K IV
Prothrombin complex or FFP
