What are the different roles within a Driver Recruiting POD?
There is a sourcer, account manager, captain, and Filler.
Describe the role of the sourcer
The sourcers work a requisition from the 1-12 day mark and have a goal of 3 interviews per opening and a goal of 8-10 days from the time the requisition is approved to the time an interview is set for a new hire.
Describe the role of the account manager
The account manager takes the req from day 13 to when the offer is accepted. They also have a goal of 3 interviews per opening should any of the sourcer’s interviews not work out or if the sourcer was not able to set up enough interviews. They have a time from when they get the req to when the new hire’s offer is launched goal of 12-15 days.
Describe the role of the captain
The Captain handles startups, distributes reqs, leads intake calls, communicates to the business and ensures effectiveness of the pod. The captain’s goal is to make sure the pod reaches team goals such as 30 day TTF.
Describe the role of the filler
The filler finalizes all processes required to prepare the new hire for employment with Ryder. The filler’s goal from the time a req is flipped to them to when the new hire is onboarded is 4-6 days.
When does a req move from the sourcer to the account manager?
o After Day 12, Day 13
o When 3 interviews per opening have been scheduled by sourcer.
o When an offer is given.
What is our compliance target and why do we need to meet it?
Our compliance target is 90-99%. This is measured to ensure that we meet the necessary recruiting requirements needed to ensure OFCCP and job folder compliance.
What is TTF?
Time to fill is the amount of time that passed between when a req was approved to the time the candidate was placed in hired status. Our TTF target as a team is 30 days.
What metrics are on your scorecard?
