Q

What is a pocket notebook used for?

A

The purpose of reporting in a pocket notebook is to refresh your memory when required to give evidence in court. That’s why it’s essential that you keep a written record of incidents to which police have been called and include any actions taken. If you don’t make notes, a Court may ask you why.
