Initial hazard zone of 50m around each stack.
Any available site plant must only be operated by who?
Competent on site staff under the direction of the IC.
How can hidden areas of burning be located?
Use of a thermal imaging camera.
What could additional resources give the IC?
Could help deliver the necessary weight of attack on the fire.

What should IC look to do with water run off wherever possible?
Contain water run off wherever possible.
If large volumes of smoke are affecting nearby premises, roads or railways, what should IC consider?
- Evacuation and/or warning and informing local residents.
- Closure of the affected roads
- Railway Procedure.
