Taxi scan:

Brake fans as required
Flight control check (instigated by PF)(full up, full down, neutral)
Check Flight directors on.
Check PFD and ND.

Radar on.
PWS auto.
Transponder code confirm set and auto.
TERR on ND as required.
Auto brake max on.
Take off Config checked.
TO memo no blue.
Cabin has Advised.

Question 4

Line up scan (before take off below the line):

Answer 4

Brake fans off
Clearance received
TCAS TA/RA
Runway and approach clear
Engine mode selector as required
ECAM memo review
Take off runway/intersection confirm
Pack 1 and 2 as required

Question 5

After take off scan (once flaps are at zero):

Answer 5

Ground spoilers disarm.
Nose and RWY turn off lights off.
APU bleed as required.
APU master as required.
ENG mode selector off/as required.
TCAS TA/RA.
TERR pb as required.

Question 6

After transition scan:

Answer 6

Landing lights off.
Seat belt sign as required.
EFIS options airport.
ECAM memo check.
MCDU navaid clear, secondary flight plan copy, check altitudes.

Question 7

Descent transition scan:

Answer 7

ECAM status check.
Landing lights on.
EFIS options constraints.
LS pb as required.
Navaid selected/identified.
Engine mode selector as required.

Question 8

Gear down scan:

Answer 8

Auto brake set.
Ground spoilers arm.
Taxi and runway turn off lights on.
ECAM wheel page check.
Auto thrust check in speed mode or off.
ECAM memo LDG no blue.

Question 9

After landing scan:

Answer 9

Radar off.
PWS off.
Engine mode selector NORM.
Flaps retract.
TCAS standby.
ATC as required.
APU start/as required.
Anti ice as required.
Brake temp check.

Question 10

Parking scan:

Answer 10

Fuel pumps off.
ATC mode selector standby.
IRS performance check.
Fuel quantity check.
ECAM status check.
Brake fans off.
Display units dim?

Question 11

Securing:

OXY crew supply pb off
Exterior lights off
Maintenance bus switch as required

When pax off:
APU bleed off
APU Master off
Emergency exit light off
Signs off
External power as required
2 minutes after APU Master off - battery 1and2 off
