Won’t over ripen

Why is rooting powder used by some plant growers?
It’s cheap and quick and all plants will be identical
Why should you use plant hormones to control weeds in a field of crops?
So that the weeds won’t take all the nutrients and the crops will grow better
What is used to ripen fruit and when is it given off?
Ethene is used to ripen fruit and it is given off by already ripe fruit
How much energy is transferred from one trophic level to the next?
Only 10%
Why does the energy decrease as it is transferred from one trophic level to the next?
Because animals loss energy as heat, faeces and not all food is eaten
What makes plants bend?
Plants bend towards light
