What is a course of training?
A complete series of studies leading to attainment of a specific goal
How is a training course developed?
Determine objectives and standards which in turn determine individual lesson plans, test items and levels of learning.
Should be well planned and organized and consists of:
Curriculum - set of courses (PPL, CPL., CFI…)
Syllabus - summary of course; step by step progression (lesson 1-18, reviews, stages 1-3, stage checks/tests…)
Course outline - content of particular course, (Aircraft, aerodynamics, weather, Navigation, etc.)

How should a training syllabus be used?
As a flexible guide. Altered when necessary to suit student progress and special circumstances such as weather and aircraft availability.
