Types of contraction

A

Isotonic= movement/ the muscle is changing length while exerting a force
Isometric = no movement/ the muscle is not changing length while exerting a force
Concentric isotonic= muscle shortens (up)
Essentric isotonic= muscles lengthens (acts a brake)
Both are the agonist never antagonist
