Some products need to be bought in stores to test or try
Customers have instant satisfaction
Enjoyable experience of shopping
Disadvantages of retailers
Retailer opening hours aren’t as flexible
May have to wait in queues
May Charger higher prices
Disadvantages of e-tailers
Website costs can be high
Delivery times can be long
Harder to establish trust with a customer
Advantages of e-tailers
Lower fixed costs as no premises
Lots of potential to grow rapidly
Can sell a much larger range
