- Ex: somatropin (Nutropin, Saizen, Humatrope) - Growth hormone antagonists: acts directly on postsynaptic dopamine receptors in the brain to inhibit GH secretion
- Ex: bromocriptine (Parlodel), octreotide (Sandostatin)
