Capable of abstract thinking and can talk logically about concepts like law and morality.

Assimilation
1) fiitting new info into existing schemas.
Equilibrium
2) In a state of mental balance as the new info makes sense.

3) A new concept can’t be assimilated into a current schema.
Disequilibrium
4) The child’s brain is unbalanced; new info doesn’t fit into the current schema.
