- Higher cognitive skills
- Executive functioning
- Regulating personality and emotional response

A
Behind the frontal lobe and occupies the upper half back of the brain.

A
- Receives and processes sensory info from the body and skin senses.
- Receives and processes bodily sensations (mainly touch, temp, pain).
- Spatial awareness and some aspects of speech.

A
Directly behind and below the parietal lobe.

A
Primarily responsible for visual functions of the eyes.
It provides quick responses to the visual environment.

A
Located at the base of the cortex.
