pH of solution = how much CO2 is removed = how much photosynthesis occurs

the closer the algal balls are to the light, the higher the light intensity, hence why, the algal balls closest to the light have a higher final pH/change in pH

A
the further from the light, the lower the rate decreases, all due to the light intensity
