Q

What do plants do with the glutose made by photosynthesis?

A

Some glutose that is left over is used in respiration as plants respire all the time. Some glutose is converted into starch and other substances for storage. Some glutose is also used to make new chemicals such as fat, sugar and protein which is needed in order for the plant to function properly.
