What are the long-term effects of alcohol(4)?
-you can get alcohol poisoning if you have an overdose
-it can be addictive
-the liver gets clogged with fat
-to continuously drink, the liver cells will die
- you can get diseases (ex. liver failure and cancer)
-you can die
What are the short-term effects of alcohol (5)?
-you react more slowly as your nerves passes messages more slowly
-you feel relaxed
- you get warm and get a red nose
-you find it harder to speak and move
-you get dehydrated
Can you buy alcohol starting from 16 years of age?
NO, you have to be 18 or over
Does alcohol affect all people the same way?
NO, because we have different bodies with different immunities etc..
Where in a body do alcoholics get cancer from normally?
Mouth and Stomach
Can you drink whilst driving?
NO, but there is a certain amount to drink so you can drive (depends where you are from). This can cause accidents of having a slow reaction time
