What is abnormal cutaneous photosensitivity?
Where the skin reacts abnormally to sun exposure, such as urticaria or dermatitis
How long does sunburn take to develop after sun exposure?
3-4 hours
When does sunburn peak after sun exposure?
12-16 hours
What are the main groups of porphyrias?
Phototoxic skin porphyria
Blistering and skin fragility problems
Acute attach porphyrias
Severe congenital porphyrias
What do photoxic skin porphyrias present with and how is this relieved?
Pain, prickling and burning sensation
Relieved by cold water

Relieve skin disease
Treat underlying disease
