Who is in charge of the Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP)?
The Chief of Naval Operations (CNO).
What does the Maintenance Officer (MO) do?
Manages the maintenance department and is directly responsible to the CO for the accomplishment of the departments mission.
What are the duties of the Aircraft Maintenance Officer (AMO)?
To keep the Maintenance Officer (MO) fully informed of matters concerning the department, assist in the performance of duties, coordinate Temporary Assigned Duty (TAD) personnel, inspect spaces, act as administrative officer in their absence, liaison with the Operations Department, manage the SE training and licensing program (O level), utilize NTMPS/FLTMPS for manpower management and additional duties as defined in the NAMSOP.

Responsible for overall production and material support of department. Coordination and monitoring of department workload. Maintaining liaison with supporting activities and supply department
