A

NJ law does not address mail-order pharmacy business hours specifically but does address the hours needed for a toll-free telephone service for out-of-state pharmacies:

The pharmacist must complete a training program jointly approved by the Board of Pharmacy and the State Board of Medical Examiners.
The pharmacist must affirm, in writing, that he or she has completed appropriate training and will follow pertinent guidelines offered by the CDC, including the United States Medical Eligibility Criteria for Contraceptive Use, and retain this written affirmation as a medical record.
Additional requirements when prescribing self-administered hormonal contraception include (but are not limited to):
Making clinical decisions free from any financial influence
Evaluating the patient through administration of a questionnaire developed by the Department of Health that will identify patient risk factors for the use of hormonal contraceptives
Offering patient counseling
Referring the patient to the patient’s primary care provider or an appropriate and nearby medical clinic
