4. Graduate student in residency and awaiting initial licensure

1440 INTERN HOURS

Answer 4

no less than 34 weeks and no more than 104 weeks
- no less than 15 hours/week and no more than 45 hours

Question 5

INTERN PRECEPTOR Application

1. License and employed full tie as rph in area of practice for at least 2 yrs
2. Not been convicted of crime or offense related to practice of pharmacy

• Supervise only one intern at a time

New intern preceptor shall be responsible for making application to board
- Intern and preceptor shall notify board in 10 days if termination or resignation of intern

- May be renewed one time only for military service, hardship, illness or disability

Interns can perform the same tasks as a pharmacist, including professional consultation with patients and physicians and the acceptance of telephone prescriptions, as long as they are under the immediate personal supervision
