Hydroxyzine
his medication is contraindicated in closed-angle glaucoma because it dilates the eyes- as part of its anti-cholinergic side effects. It is also contraindicated in BPH and with MAOIs.

Alpha adrenergic agonist (sympathomimetic) that is weaker than ephedrine
SE of Pseudoephedrine/Oxymetazoline
HTN, tachycardia
CNS overstimulation (insomnia, tremors)
Rebound rhinorrhea

Other sympathomimetics = MAOIs, caffeine
May increase the toxicity of theophylline
This medication may cause drowsiness, it may shorten a menstrual cycle, and cause anti-cholinergic effects: dry eyes, dry mouth, constipation, blurry vision, mydriasis
