What happened after the Tsar abdicated to the government?

A

The radicals and revolutionaries started a government called the Petrograd Soviet and the Duma became the provisional government.

A

It was made by the Duma as a temporary government until the first election came, but was blessed by the Grand Duke Michail his powers and was under Prince Lvov, a wealthy aristocrat and leader of the Zemstvo

A

They formed because workers, soldiers and peasants believed the PG was too tainted by the aristocracy and wouldn’t help the citizens, so they became their own government and self- appointed the members
