In a Bolshevik naval bases called Red Kronstadt, the sailors organised an armed violent demonstration with Bolshevik slogans to overthrow the Provisional government

He came back from his holiday and could neither condemn nor accept what they were doing, and tried to make the protest peaceful but couldn’t and tried to stop a protest on the 4th.

Kerensky arrested many Bolshevik leaders such as Trotsky, and closed down Pravda, a Bolshevik newspaper.

He could have been harsher on the Bolsheviks and destroyed their reputation completely.

It undermined their work and showed they were unorganised and weak leaders. They were violent and wouldn’t help Petrograd.

A letter from the PG came out about how Lenin was in the pay of the Germans to undermine Russia from the inside so that Germany can win, also showing how their intentions weren’t for the making Russia better, but to help Germany win the war.
What was Izvestia’s reaction to the July Days?
It denounced what the sailors were doing, trying to push the blame from the Bolsheviks, but the damage was done and their support from the civilians was low.
