What inserts on the tuber calcaneal?
The tallocrural or tibiotarsal joint. The Achille’s tendon inserts at the tuber calcaneal.
tarsocrural joint (tibiotarsal) -trochlea of talus and cochlea of tibia proximal tarsal joint -talocalcaneal central joint: talus and calcaneus with central tarsal bone -calcaneoquartal joint: calcaneus with 4th tarsal bone movement: primarily flextion and extension (greatest movement in tarsocrural joint)
