- suspects infidelity in a sexual or romantic partner
- reads negative intent
- quick to rebut angrily
- believe others intend to harm or decieve

- being neutral regarding praise or criticism
- lack of enjoyment in activities
- general lack of emotionality
- preference for isolation
- lack of desire for relationships, few friends

- inappropriate emotional expression
- limited number of friends and relatives
- odd, eccentric, or peculiar behavior

A
- age of at least 18
- evidence of conduct disorder before 15
- regular irresponsibility
- impulsivity or lack of planning skills, irritability
- failure to conform to social norms with respect to the law

- belief that one is special
- need for excessive admiration, sense of entitlement
- exploitation of others for personal ends, lack of empathy
- envy of others and belief that others are envious of self
- arrogant or haughty attitudes
- grandiose sense of self important
- preoccupation with success

Borderline Personality Disorder
A
- pattern of strained interpersonal relationships
- significant, consistent, unstable self perception
- inappropriate irritability/expression of anger
- recurrent suicidal behavior or threats
- impulsivity in at least 2 destructive areas
- chronic feelings of emptiness and emotional instability

A
- using physical appearance as a means of getting attention
- perceiving relationships as more intimate than they really are
- inappropriate irritability and speaking in an impressionistic manner
- uncomfortable when not center of attention
- displaying superficial expression of emotion
- inappropriately sexually seductive and extreme emotionality

- avoidance of occupational activities due to fear of rejection

- needs others to be responsible for most aspects of life
- difficulty communicating disagreement for fear of rejection
- difficulty initiating self directed activity
- going to extremes for approval
- feels discomfort when alone
- need to always be in a relationship
- indecisiveness and need for reassurance
