- numbness/tingling in first 3 digits
- thenar atrophy, nocturnal pain (ape hand)

adjust, cock up splint, B6
- pain/parasthesia on volar forearm, lat palm, lat digits
- anterior interosseous nerve
- cause by hypertonicity of muscle by occupation
- pn w/ pronation, wrist flx, thenar atrophy
pronator teres syndrome
test for pronator teres syndrome
- pinch grip test
- patient presents that they cant pick up coins from the table
tx for pronator teres syndrome
TrP therapy, spray and stretch
- tunnel of guyon, cubital tunnel caused by direct trauma, rep microtrauma
- pn/ting, numb in last 2 digits, weakness of adductor pollicis (claw hand), hypothenar atrophy
ulnar nerve entrapement
palsy for lower brachial plexus (C8-T1) from childbirth, creates a claw hand deformity with wrist flexion
klumpke’s paralysis
-wrist drop, erb’s palsy, saturday night palsy, crutch palsy via the spiral groove caused by trauma, lead poisoning, pressure from crutches
radial nerve entrapment
presentation of radial nerve entrapment
loss of tricep reflex
decreased sens to post arm, forearm, posterolateral 3.5 fingers
pain from pelvis to floor caused by trauma, traction, wallet pressure, piriformis, muscle spasm
-sens pn in post butt, thigh, weak knee flx, dec achilles reflex
sciatica
ddx for sciatica
facet (but facet doesnt go to the floor)
-bt metatarsal 3/4 caused by rep microtrauma, narrow toed shoes, RA, foot deform that presents with painin toes and dorsum of foot and may require surgery
morton’s neuroma )intermetatarsal)
-deep peroneal nerve that can affect of the four muscles: tib ant, EHL, EDL, peroneus tertius, s/sx similar to charcot marie tooth
anterior compartment syndrome
fingertip is curled and cant straighten, results from injury
