Hypersecretion of gastric acid related to microbe
=imparied secretion of somatostatin so more gastrin release
=acidic environment

A

Results from an imbalance between damaging factors:

  • gastric juices
  • H. pylori
  • NSAIDs

and defense mechanisms:
