baby’s head can be facilitated into flexion, extension or rotation with mouth opening
rooting and sucking reflexes
reaction to sudden lack of support by moving arms into ABD, Horiz ext, supination
Moro reflex
opposite leg flexes and extends to push away stimulus
crossed extension
stroking of paraspinals results in trunk flexion to side of stroking
Galant’s response
w/ head and trunk supported, infants hold body weight when feet touch solid surface
proprioceptive placing
after placing, infant tilts to one side and alternate stepping mvmts
spontaneous stepping
Head turns R, R side opens and L side closes
Head extends, UE ext and LE flex
Asymmetric tonic neck reflex ATNR
